MIRI will join the rest of the mountain lovers around the world to celebrate this year’s IMD on 11th December 2024. According to the Mountain Partnership, the suggested theme for this year’s celebration is “Mountain solutions for a sustainable future – innovation, adaptation, youth and beyond” We shall work with the key stakeholders (the national focal point institution, which is the Ministry of Water and Environment, and the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO)) in organising local celebrations in Uganda
